Kensington International Taps David Shpiz as Executive Vice President
Kensington International, a preeminent human capital and talent management firm, today announced that David Shpiz has joined the firm as Executive Vice President within the Executive Search Division.
In this role, Mr Shpiz will be instrumental in building and leading the firm’s technology practice – primarily focused on private equity-backed companies. He will provide executive search and human capital solutions backed by Kensington’s unique approach to talent management. Kensington International has not only been a leader in identifying new talent for organizations, but has also developed a full suite of capabilities using proprietary data-driven tools to assess and improve management teams.
Prior to joining Kensington and since 2013, Mr Shpiz was a partner at Kindred Partners, a leading executive search firm entirely focused on placing executives in high-growth technology companies. In addition to his Kindred experience, Mr Shpiz’s background includes several years at Intel in marketing and product management and working as an equity research analyst in the communications software sector with Thomas Weisel Partners. He also worked with Heidrick & Struggles - executing technology-related searches for venture capital, private equity and public companies.
Brian Clarke, a Founding Partner at Kensington International noted, “While Kensington has had an incredibly robust Private Equity practice for many years, the ability to expand what has traditionally been consumer, healthcare and industrial work to now include the technology sector is very exciting. Dave and his work on both coasts can be highly leveraged in terms of supporting the ever-increasing Chicago and Midwest-based PE-backed technology plays.”
While Mr Shpiz will be based in Chicago, he will continue to manage a practice and clients across the U.S.
Kensington International serves its clients outside the U.S. through its Partner Organizations – Career Partners International and Agilium World Search Partners.
