GRMSearch Strengthens Practice Groups with New Arrivals in South Africa, Australia and Japan
After a superb start to 2016 GRMSearch has added strength in it’s global practices.
In Johannesburg, GRM has signed experienced recruitment and insurance professional Kumari Naicker to its global insurance recruitment & consultancy practice group. Ms Naicker is respected in the insurance circles in South Africa and presents a real coup for GRM’s young office in the region.
Managing Director, Dale Verster stated, “To bring in someone of Kumari’s calibre to our rapidly expanding office is a real shot in the arm for GRM. Globally we have an excellent insurance practice, servicing many of the worlds leading insurance, reinsurance and consultancy firms and Kumari is going to add real strength to that.”
Ms Naicker’s coverage will be growing the global footprint across Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
In Australia GRM’s multi award winning legal practice added Andrea Cohen to the team. Based in Sydney, Ms Cohen originally helped launch GRM’s Melbourne office and now she is welcomed back to continue GRM’s push across the country.
Australian Managing Director, Paul Garth said, “I am delighted to welcome Andrea back to GRM, she is an excellent recruitment professional and our legal practice is really flying at the moment, we have become preferred supplier to many of the top names in the legal sector – Andrea’s signing will add strength to the service we bring our clients in our goal to offer a pan-country service.”
And finally GRM’s Tokyo office welcomed a new Managing Director and a new Legal and Compliance Director. Tokyo recruitment expert for the past 20 years, Tomas Gistren, signs for GRM as MD of the Tokyo office. Mr Gistren is an expert in the Tech and Digital space, which is a rapidly growing practice area for GRM across Asia.
Mr Gistren stated, “I am delighted to have joined one the most prestigious and fastest growing companies in recruitment in Asia. To be given the chance and the blueprint to build our brand across Japan is incredibly exciting. I am sure the next few years will bring huge success as we set about building the right foundations for growth and bringing our Japanese clients the very best recruitment and executive search service we can.”
Simon Tulloch, who will focus primarily on the Legal & Compliance market in Japan for GRM, joins Tomas. Simon has spent 12 years recruiting in the legal and compliance space in Tokyo and alongside Mr Gistren will bring real strength to GRM’s Tokyo clients and wider Asian Legal practice.
GRM’s CEO, Rob Green, states, “It’s been a lot of planning and a lot of work, but we have signed real strength to our growing family. Our Insurance, Legal and Tech practices are seeing real success this year, across a number of platforms and jurisdictions and we want to strike while the iron is hot. By bringing in Kumari, Andrea, Tomas and Simon we are sending a real message to our clients and candidates that we will not rest, we will keep working harder for you, we will keep investing for you so that you can always count on GRM to be the very best service provider available to you in the staffing market.
We now have unparalleled strength with real depth of experience in our markets. But we will not rest, we have a lot planned for the rest of 2016, with new offices, new people, new platforms, new services for our candidates and clients and new acquisitions and I am excited about where GRM is heading – watch this space!”
