Pinnacle Search Partners Announces New President and Owner
Pinnacle Search Partners, LLC, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, announced the company has been acquired by veteran business leader William (Bill) Creekmuir. Mr Creekmuir, who has served in a leadership role with Pinnacle since January 2015, will serve as Pinnacle’s President.
With more than 35 years of experience, Mr Creekmuir brings a depth of knowledge to Pinnacle. As executive vice president and CFO at Atlanta-based Simmons Bedding Company, he worked with three different private equity sponsor groups over an 11-year period. Previously, he served as executive vice president and CFO of publicly traded LADD Furniture, Inc., and over a 15-year period worked in the United States and Ireland for the international public accounting firm KPMG, where he was responsible for college recruiting in the Carolinas and was a partner.
“This is an exciting time at Pinnacle Search. I look forward to leading the further growth of the firm and continuing to deliver world-class talent to organizations seeking game-changing executives,” said Mr Creekmuir. “I am excited to lead a dedicated team with a history of success in executive search. The Pinnacle team’s desire to earn the trust and confidence of each of our clients by providing high touch service will continue to solidify our success.”
Pinnacle Search, a boutique firm with a global reach, is recognized as a leader in matching top talent with C-suite to director level positions in finance, operations, marketing, sales and human resources. The firm’s focus is middle market companies, private or private equity owned, in the consumer, industrial, manufacturing and retail space.
Pinnacle Search Partners founder Mary Elizabeth Sadd said, “Bill will continue to be a valuable asset to the Pinnacle team and its clients. His breadth of business experience and his many contacts across the country in private equity, the home furnishings industry and the CFO-suite, in general, should be drivers of continued growth for Pinnacle.” Sadd continued, “Bill’s vast business knowledge and track record of success, coupled with the wealth of talent of the Pinnacle team, bodes well for our six-year old firm.”
Mr Creekmuir is also active outside Pinnacle, serving on the advisory boards of several private companies and nonprofit organizations. He is chair of the advisory board at the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business at Elon University, a member of the board of trustees at Atlanta’s Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School, and a member of the board of directors for YMCA Camp High Harbour which last year served over 6000 Georgia campers.
Mr Creekmuir is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a CPA.
