GRMSearch Has Appointed Laikee Tang as Director
GRMSearch has appointed multi-award winning financial services headhunter Laikee Tang as Director, Head of Front Office. She will spearhead the launch and development of a front office desk serving both buy and sell side clients and candidates across the Asia-Pacific region. Ms Tang will be based in Hong Kong with a specific focus on the equities, private equity and investment banking sectors.
Originally from Amsterdam with a background in law, Ms Tang is a banking and finance headhunter with a track record of completing search assignments for investment banks, asset management firms, private equity houses and hedge funds throughout Asia-Pacific.
Over seven years in the industry, Ms Tang has been recognised by her industry peers as the top headhunter in her field. Highlights from a career include Asiamoney Best Overall Headhunting Executive and Best Headhunting Executive in Service, Asset Management, Cash Management and Hedge Funds in 2012. In 2011 and 2010, she was also voted the Asiamoney Best Headhunting Executive in Cash Equities.

The appointment follows two nods for the executive search firm at the 2014 Global Recruiter Awards, where GRMSearch was named winner and commended winner in the Best Recruitment Consultant and Best Specialist Agency categories, respectively.

Earlier this month GRMSearch released a gross profit year-on-year growth of 32 per cent for Q3, which has fuelled an expansion across the Asia-Pacific region. In addition new offices in Johannesburg and Melbourne launched this year, the company has partnered with business representatives in Myanmar, Thailand and Japan to expand its reach across the region.
