RSA Appoints Leader For US Business
RSA, the global life sciences executive search and board advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Elizabeth McCabe as Head of RSA North America.
In her new role, Ms McCabe will be leading the expansion of the firms’ North American capabilities. RSA has relocated its US head offices to New York City. RSA also has offices in London, Frankfurt, Basel and Singapore.
Prior to joining RSA, Ms McCabe started Artis BioMedica, a boutique life sciences search firm. With over 15 years’ experience, she has conducted senior-level assignments in R&D, business development and sales and marketing functions.
Ms McCabe also served as the recruiting partner for Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, a life sciences focused venture capital firm with $2.5 B under management, where she was responsible for developing relationships with C-Level executives and across all sectors of the healthcare industry, advising portfolio companies on recruiting senior executives, board members and advisors.
“Elizabeth brings exceptional domain understanding and recruitment expertise across life sciences sectors, including the financing and VC sector,” said Chris Molloy, CEO of RSA. “RSA is about ‘Better People’; Elizabeth reflects that ethos and the international working style of the firm. We are excited to have her driving our ongoing US expansion.”
Ms McCabe commented: “I am thrilled to be joining RSA, a truly global boutique executive search firm. Throughout my career, I have conducted global searches in pursuit of the best talent. RSA’s strong track record in Europe and Asia provides an ideal platform that we can leverage to better serve clients.”
Commenting on RSA America’s relocation to New York City, Nick Stephens, Executive Chairman of RSA said: “The US is an engine room for the life sciences, yet many US firms find it hard to access international talent for their national and international expansion. We are a knowledge, networks and services business. This move adds to each of those elements and therefore serves our national and international clients.”
“Unlike many firms in our sector we work as one global firm. We believe in close local client relationships which then access our global project teams to ensure we get the best job done for our clients, wherever they are or want to be,” added Mr Molloy.
