Waldron Opens San Francisco Office
Social sector executive search firm Waldron has announced the opening of its first office in San Francisco, California.
The new office will be led by Managing Director Jeff Waldron, a Bay Area native with leadership experience both domestically and abroad, serving philanthropic, nonprofit and governmental clients.
Headquartered in Seattle with additional offices in Portland, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Boise, the firm has over 30 years of experience providing executive search and leadership development services to nonprofits, NGOs and foundations. Waldron’s San Francisco office will position the firm in the heart of the Bay Area.
Mr Waldron returns to the firm, where he had worked from 1999-2009 and was vice president at the time of his departure, overseeing the operational delivery of services in the executive search practice as well as leading search engagements. He joins after several years with the International Development Law Organization (“IDLO”) in Rome Italy, where he became the organization’s Acting Director-General.
Melissa Merritt, Waldron’s Vice President and Co-Managing Director of Executive Search, said: “We are thrilled to be able to serve so many innovative and dedicated California organizations by positioning ourselves right at their doorstep. This new office will allow us not only to better work with Waldron’s rapidly expanding client base in San Francisco, but also to serve the nonprofit, philanthropic and governmental sectors throughout the Golden State.”
