Korn Ferry France Hits 40 Year Milestone
Korn Ferry has celebrated 40 years of providing services to client organisations in France.
April 1, 2014, marked four decades of Korn Ferry’s presence in France. As the second largest office in EMEA and one of the top five sites in Korn Ferry’s worldwide network, Korn Ferry France, with 150 employees, has contributed to the company’s expansion, evolving its consulting services within the French market and growing the business by 13% over the past twelve months.
“Our industry has changed considerably and new needs have emerged. A decade ago, Korn Ferry generated nearly all of its revenue from placing top executives and board members. Today, 41% of our revenue is generated outside our flagship offering,” said Dominique Virchaux, Korn Ferry’s Managing Director for France and Spain. “Here in France we have persevered in a tough economic climate by offering a bespoke and client-centric approach that has not only given businesses in France the flexibility they have needed, but enabled them to best utilise French talent as a way to thrive. We look forward to driving further growth in France over the coming years.”
Gary Burnison, CEO of Korn Ferry, added: “With the average lifespan of a Fortune 500 company standing at between 40 and 50 years, this milestone is an incredible testament to Korn Ferry’s forward-thinking approach to talent management services. The challenge of succeeding in today’s dynamic business environment is more daunting than ever and Korn Ferry continues to serve as a valued partner in our clients’ ongoing effort to attract and retain the best and brightest.”
The milestone comes as the global company rebrands with a new logo and places a greater focus on the French market. Korn Ferry France has recently relocated to headquarters at Rond-Point des Champs-Elysées, having joined forces with subsidiary company Futurestep and the recently acquired PDI Ninth House – a business in the leadership consulting industry. Managing Director of Korn Ferry France and Spain, Ms Virchaux is part of the Executive Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in France.
