Major, Lindsey & Africa Announces Solutions Practice Group
Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), a legal search firm, has announced the Solutions Practice Group, a new practice area designed to assist organizations in managing complex and demanding legal workloads without adding permanent resources.
MLA’s Solutions Practice partners with its clients to provide human capital and flexible workforce solutions. This includes temporary resourcing for interim general counsel services, staff augmentation, special projects and leave scenarios. Engagements include part time, per matter, full time, remote or onsite arrangements depending on the expected scope of work.
“‘BigLaw must ‘adapt or die’ as MLA accurately forecasted and continues to predict for 2014 in the report BigLaw2014: A Look Ahead by Jeffrey Lowe,” said Simon Robinson, President and CEO of Major, Lindsey & Africa and Allegis Partners. “Major, Lindsey & Africa is committed to identifying needs throughout the global legal market and building successful solutions that make best business sense and lead to high-quality, successful outcomes for our partners and clients.”
The Solutions Practice has four categories of focus – Intellectual Property, Regulatory and Compliance, Transactional and Litigation. The Solutions Practice incorporates the temporary staffing services of former MLA affiliate, Inside Edge Legal.
“We could not be more pleased to announce the launch of MLA’s Solutions Practice in support of our in-house and law firm clients with human capital solutions that match their business needs,” said Greg Richter, Global Practice Leader, Solutions Practice Group. “The MLA Solutions Practice is an enhanced area that determines and provides creative ways to meet the wide-ranging legal needs of MLA clients with specialized services impacting the efficiency and effectiveness on a wide array of legal matter management and delivery.”
