RSA Appoints Director of Information
RSA, the global Life Sciences Executive Search and Interim Management specialist, announced the appointment of Claes Zackrisson as its first Director of Information. Mr Zackrisson brings to RSA over seven years of international research and knowledge management experience gained through specialist and leadership roles in executive search, focussed on the Life Sciences.
“Effective knowledge management is a critical capability of today's leading businesses. This has been a skill within top level advisory firms for many years and the professional services sector of Executive Recruitment should be no different,” says Chris Molloy, CEO of RSA. “This unique role defines a new domain in the industry harnessing information acquisition, insight generation and Client-side information sharing; and reinforces RSA's commitment to the future of the industry.”
Today's recruitment market has seen an influx of contingent 'no win no fee' players and companies relying on the Internet for CVs. In contrast, senior level Executive talent provision is a professional service that should be defined by an expert combination of domain knowledge, trusted networks and service excellence. Executive search firms should constantly be communicating with the talent pool to maintain a level of deep insight. This can only be made possible through deeper and targeted data gathering and shared internal communication.
Commenting on his appointment Mr Zackrisson said, "Knowledge Management is key in our current world of transformation. Our business is transformational and the networks that exist across the world are also constantly evolving. Nurturing the information that we have already retrieved is the highest priority for an Executive Search Firm today."
"We believe that the future of executive talent provision demands a new approach to how information is managed, consumed and presented,” adds Chris Molloy. “To be successful requires deep domain insight, focus and vision. We have those elements and the appointment of Claes provides the expertise and profile that this vision deserves. We expect it to shape how professional executive talent acquisition is done in the future.
