John Knapp Joins David Barrett Partners
David Barrett Partners (DBP) has announced that John Knapp has joined the firm as a Partner in their New York Office.
Mr Knapp will be working closely with the existing DBP team in continuing to build the firm's recruiting presence in the US and international asset and wealth management arenas. He will split his time between New York and Boston. Mr Knapp most recently worked for another search firm, where he was head of their Asset Management Search Practice for the US and a member of their Global Board and Financial Officers practice groups.

Mr Knapp brings over 20 years of financial services and management consulting experience, spending the past decade in investment and wealth management leadership roles. In Mr Knapp’s most recent role, he focused on executive leadership, investment management and sales and marketing roles in asset and wealth management and private equity. Prior to that, he spent six years with Fidelity Investments, most recently as vice president for Institutional Wealth Services, where he was responsible for product development, management and marketing of Institutional Wealth solutions for Fidelity's Registered Investment Advisor business. Mr Knapp also brings his experience as a management consultant, including 11 years’ experience at Andersen Consulting and Accenture. He received his MBA from Columbia University and BA from Dartmouth College.
