GRMSearch Celebrates Five Years In Asia
GRMSearch, one of Hong Kong’s executive search firms, is five years old this week.
GRMSearch was launched under the leadership of current CEO Rob Green above a coffee shop in Sheung Wan. Over the next five years, the firm operated out of the central business district and served investment banks, finance houses, insurance firms, law firms and listed companies. The company has offices in Australia and South Africa and plans to expand into other markets.
Mr Green said: “Firstly, we came here with a clear goal. We looked at the top level competition in the legal recruitment market, and we wanted to catch them up. We wanted to learn as much as possible about how clients in Asia wanted us to work for them – rather than telling them how we work.”
“We’ve focused on the customer experience: what does the client need from us? What does the job seeker need from us? Alongside this state of mind, we focused on bringing in the best people to the office, with exceptional academics and, where possible, industry experience,” he added.
GRMSearch this year launched an insurance desk.
“Our goal remains the same,” said Mr Green, “Work hard, with dedication, for our clients in those sectors until we become the number one supplier, and once we achieve that, to work even harder.”
“We’re delighted to be celebrating the fifth birthday of our Hong Kong head office. I hope the next five are filled with just as much hard work, dedication and success,” Mr Green concluded.
GRM was awarded Legal & Compliance Headhunter of the Year in 2012 by Asiamoney Magazine and given Commended Winner status by the Global Recruiter Awards in 2013.
