Boyden Expands Partner Presence In Boston
Boyden, a global executive search firm, has announced two executive appointments in the Boston market.
Lissa Conn has joined Boyden as a Partner, and late last year, Paul Moran, a senior executive recruiter, was appointed as a Managing Partner. Both will be based in Boyden’s newly formed Boston office and will focus on the technology, healthcare and life sciences sectors.
Ms Conn brings experience as a recruiter in the technology and healthcare sectors and has held a variety of positions in executive search, executive talent management and strategic assessment.

Ms Conn began her career at a boutique search firm in Boston and subsequently moved to another global executive search organization. She also worked as a corporate recruiter and practice lead for the healthcare management consulting practice of a publicly traded global business and technology consulting firm. She has consulted with Boston-area CIO practices and executives on strategy, partnering, collaboration, accountability, expectation management and innovative initiatives.
Ms Conn has also worked with venture capital and private equity firms and their portfolio companies. She has experience in filling positions such as CEO, CMO, CIO and other C-level and board of director positions.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Ms Conn also works with Community Servings, an organization that provides meals to the acutely ill, their families and their caregivers, and is a member of The Women's Executive Group and the UMass Alumni Association.
Mr Moran will serve as a member of Boyden’s Technology Practice and will be focused on talent acquisition and retention.

Mr Moran brings 25 years of experience in talent acquisition in a variety of functional positions, including C-Suite, general management, professional services, sales, marketing, finance and engineering positions. He has serviced clients in multiple industries, including technology, finance, healthcare, clean technology and professional services.
Mr Moran has also served in senior roles for other global search firms, placing senior executives. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Marist College and serves on a variety of boards for not-for-profit organizations.
