Spencer Ogden Launches Scotland Superhub Office
Spencer Ogden, the global energy recruitment firm, has launched a superhub office in the heart of Aberdeen, Scotland, to support the Scottish energy industry.
The opening of the office on 19 December 2013 was marked by a launch party.
David Spencer-Percival, CEO of Spencer Ogden, said: “We have been open about our plans for global expansion. But the decision to increase our presence in Aberdeen and create an office superhub is based on more than global ambition; we go where we see a genuine need for our services.
“Aberdeen was one of Spencer Ogden’s first offices in 2010. Now, nearly four years later, there is a very good reason to double our efforts in the city and raise our headcount there from 20 to 40. The threat of an energy skills shortage in the region is very real and has received extensive media coverage. We want to help prevent that threat emerging by bringing fresh talent into the area.”
In 2013 Spencer Ogden won awards declaring it the recruitment industry’s best company to work for, established four new bases around the world and turned over an estimated £50m.
