A unique training opportunity for Executive Researchers!
Interactive training sessions, practical insights and international networking.
In the executive search profession, the process of placing top talent with clients begins at the researcher level. To help researchers achieve the best possible results, search-consult brings you the Research Practitioner Skills Day. Through highly interactive sessions, researchers will receive practical tips and learn techniques that will make a real difference to the way they work.
The Research Practitioner Skills Day differs from other big training events in that attendees will be split into small groups for each breakout session. This approach will mean that attendees have opportunities for role play and to ask lots of questions and will enable trainers to better address each individual’s needs.
Competency-Based Interviewing (CBI) Techniques For Effective Research (Carol O'Driscoll)
Carol O’Driscoll is the Director of Archer Search and the former Research Director, Europe, for Russell Reynolds Associates.
This session will help you be more efficient and productive in understanding the client need, getting the brief, sourcing to get referrals of the most "on spec" candidates, approaching and screening candidates and referencing.
The focus will be on learning how to use these techniques in a typical research role. It will not cover face-to-face interviewing methodologies due to time constraints.
It will involve some role play so come prepared to share!

EXCELLENT FEEDBACK FROM PAST DELEGATES:
"The day was very interesting and I was able to learn a lot. I think that even for a more seasoned researcher, the day would be worthwhile. Francesca was engaging and explained what can sometimes be rather daunting tasks in a very simple way using examples and her own experiences." - Tom Hughes, Lumina Search
"Extremely helpful and informative. Perfect for those starting out in executive search. I thought Francesca was brilliant and very interesting and really spent time getting to know each individual and catering specifically for their needs. Enjoyed the mix of lecture style learning, group interaction, role plays and Q&A." - Amanda Best, Forrester Partners LLP
"I found Francesca to be very approachable and although someone who is clearly a very capable consultant, she made sure to address the concerns of a researcher, explaining that this is what she enjoys and has honed throughout her 14 years. Her tips about time management, conversing with and approaching people, and on the ethics employed in the Search industry were very useful. There was just the right amount of participation and presentation and it was useful to have the slides in front of us as a booklet. I felt the course was highly valuable as it encouraged peer to peer discussion, advising one another and gave relatively junior researchers a support network." - Victoria Molenkamp, Denton Search Ltd
"The workshop was very helpful and interesting and provided me with lots of advice on how to freshen up my search offering to clients." - James Carmalt, Culliford Edmunds Associates Ltd
"Focused on the entire executive search process - all the crucial topics were covered which was certainly appreciated!"- Jana Kalatova, Williams & Partner
"Relevant and well delivered, particularly the time spent on each topic meant the pace kept the day flowing." - Darrel Pugh, Nolan Partners Ltd
